QA Systems Analyst

This position announcement is for a QA Systems Analyst who is responsible for the administrative support and continuous improvement of recently implemented quality systems. This individual will utilize technology to identify solutions to current and future business challenges. While serving as the liaison between the business and IT (JBS IT and External Consulting), the analyst's performance will be based on the successful delivery of ongoing system enhancement projects initiated to promote efficient data management and provide value added analytics.

Responsibilities:
Identify inefficiencies within business processes and offer realistic solutions.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to clearly define system requirements.
Manage projects with documented plans and clearly communicate progress with status reports.
Build detailed and comprehensive functional specs to be handed over to IT/Consulting.
Prepare test scripts, perform unit testing, and participate in integration testing.
Build training documentation and train users in different environments (classroom, web meetings, etc).
Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture and data structures.
Provide end users with basic technical support and troubleshooting.
Continual education of the relevant SAP platforms and future SAP development efforts.
Assist in the development of the quality system roadmap to ensure long-term success.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This position will require less than 15% travel. This translates into approximately 8 weeks per year primarily related to blueprinting, user training, solution testing, and formal SAP training.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree preferred - Business, Computer Science, Quality Assurance or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience:
Typically requires a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience to successfully perform the duties of job.

Qualifications:
Analytical thinker with an organized approach to project management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Leadership ability that can foster productive cross-functional discussions.
Passionate, motivated, and strong willingness to learn.
Deep understanding of data management and applications within the SAP environment.
Proven ability to implement and roll-out enterprise software.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the poultry industry.
Basic knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance in the food industry.
Ability to effectively work on multiple initiatives in parallel.
Must have a positive work attitude and work well with a team.
Active team player who can take direction but also willing to provide input and ideas.
Ability to understand the relationships and needs of all functional areas of the business.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
