Responsibilities:

Administration of Workers Compensation and Auto Accident Claims.

Coordinate and track litigated claim files with insurance company and legal counsel.

Create and maintain accurate support records for all claims.

Maintain accurate follow up system to track claims and legal files.

Provide regular status updates and respond timely to requests.

Maintain a working relationship and facilitate communication within the appropriate JBS Departments and external insurance, medical staffing entities, and attorneys.

Coordinate individual medical case management plans for injured employees.

Lead monthly claim reviews of all open workers compensation and auto claims.

Make appropriate recommendations on return to work, or other case closure opportunities.

Initiate the permanent placement process once permanent restrictions are assigned.

Develop and maintain the distribution of claim management and financial reports.

Maintain accurate workers compensationrecords and reports to comply with federal and state record keeping requirements.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong analytical, mathematical, and general computer software proficiencies.

Basic knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.

Basic knowledge of auto insurance claims and reporting.

High level of attention to detail and follow through.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in one or more following claim environments:
Workers Compensation/ Auto Claims/ Litigation files.

Prior insurance claims or paralegal experiencepreferred.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.

Base salary range of $55,000.
