The Resident Services Coordinator builds trusting relationships by directly working with residents and community partners.
This position is balanced with physically active onsite activities and office work.
The Resident Services Coordinator works directly with the residents, senior manager, and property management to plan, coordinate, and implement a resident-centric model for quality service delivery through a trauma-informed lens.
RESIDENT COMMUNITY BUILDING Establishes trusting relationships with residents for building safe, equitable, resilient and vibrant communities.
Works with the residents, volunteers, senior manager, and property management staff to ensure that services are consistent with an existing service plan and that services are meeting the program model service standards.
Assists senior manager with fostering resident relationships for building resident councils.
Provides direct services (distribution of food, backpacks, living supplies, etc.
) Plans and coordinates on-site and off-site social, recreational, and educational activities and events, including arts and crafts, health and wellness activities and education, or holiday celebrations for all ages, children, youth, adults, families, and seniors.
Maintains resident services inventory of all supplies and materials for each property.
Develops an ongoing cooperative network of government and social services agencies.
Prepares resident services information for community newsletters and social media sites.
SERVICE COORDINATION - To ensure resident services and programs are resident-centric and are delivered through a trauma-informed approach in a holistic manner, the Coordinator of Resident Services will:
Be responsible for providing service coordination of programs and activities.
Coordinate with residents, senior manager, and community partners to deliver culturally appropriate, holistic, safe, and equitable programs tailored to the response of residents' needs and requests.
Coordinate or host resident workshops/activities for residents.
Meet with residents to assist with specific needs for referrals to community resources.
Provide direct referral support services to residents for rental assistance, food assistance, and other support services.
Personally oversee each activity and ensure they run as planned.
Communicate effectively and regularly with onsite staff.
Meet routinely with senior manager to discuss programs, goals, and service implementation.
Data Management:
gather, record, and report data for activities and impact each month.
Use multiple technology platforms to collaborate with the team.
